Historic luxury on The Strand

This has to be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment you drive up you are treated like royalty by every member of staff you see. I was lucky enough to stay in one of the recently renovated rooms, all the amenities you would expect and more while still managing to keep the historic charm. The service, the food, the staff, I cannot say one bad thing about this hotel. It may be expensive but this will be an experience you will remember for the rest of your life - treat yourself!

A perfect stay

We just had our yearly stay at the Savoy, and it was absolutely perfect. We have been doing this for several years now and even though it does cost a bit it has become one of the highlights of the year for us. It is an investment in happiness and good memories. We had a lovely junior suite (room 500). This was one of the newly refurbished rooms. They are in the process of refurbishing all rooms and as “old guests” we have been a little worried, but we liked it very much. Great design, great attention to details, a great update on the technical side with a new lighting system, but still in the Savoy style. But as always it was the staff, the people, that made it perfect. After having stayed at the Savoy regularly for years it feels like coming home to good friends that happen to live in a nice place. Genci, Rob and Tony at the door, the concierge team, and especially head butler Attila and Rose the perfect breakfast hostess all made our stay special. Every single day that starts with Rose bringing you breakfast is automatically a great day. In this time of AI and modern hotels without staff, their motto should be “The Savoy – by real people for real people”. The countdown to next year has begun!

I had the most incredible birthday experience yesterday at The Savoy, and I truly couldn’t have asked for anything better. From the moment we arrived, the setting was absolutely perfect - elegant, refined, and every bit as special as the occasion deserved. A huge shoutout to Hannah, who made the entire evening unforgettable. She looked after us with such warmth and professionalism, always offering service with a genuine smile and ensuring we had everything we needed. Her attention to detail and kind presence really elevated the whole experience. We were treated to champagne celebrations, and everything, from the ambiance to the service, was simply flawless. My boyfriend and I felt so looked after and completely spoiled. It was a truly fancy and memorable afternoon that we’ll be talking about for a long time. I stayed last weekend in April as i was running London Marathon, I have been fortunate to stay here on a few occasions going back to pre refit and all i can say is its as magical now as its ever been and that is simply to do with all the wonderful staff. everything is perfection and the attention to detail is second to none.
